This rare Olivetti Rapida ICO typewriter is one for the collectors. It is a fully working typewriter from 1938 that is in great condition. The Olivetti Rapida was only available in the European market in small numbers. This collector's item is a classic Art Deco typewriter with classic black shiny paintwork and chrome! If you are looking for an iconic collector's typewriter, this is one for you!Olivetti struck gold with this timeless model and their classic simplicity. Sadly these type...writers went out of production in 1950, so what we have left in working condition is all there is and this typewriter is in excellent working condition.This typewriter comes with the original case and a brand new ribbon which has been installed on the original spools. The keys are glass keys with chrome edging and make this is a beautiful piece of art that also works. A stunning addition to a collection for display or for writing the old-fashioned way.This typewriter has been well preserved and is in a good working condition. The paintwork in a very good condition with only minimal signs of wear, and the mechanics of the typing are still smooth and functioning well.
