Please read "Condition Description" above. Soft, pliable silk with substance. Salvaged from a late 1800s garment.... Unique type of silk with slight ribbing in its weave...lined with navy blue silk taffeta...handmade....This measures approximately 41” across top edge - 48.5” along bottom edge x 4.5” - 5.5” on either end and about 4” - 4.5” throughout due to being handmade:hence, irregularity in width.
It is being sold "AS IS".....there is a slit at the 15” mark ...along bottom edge from one end. Please note it is not finished off along bottom edge. Although there is a slit, the fabric is not deteriorating or brittle.
