Here is a neat old handwritten store ledger!
It is a 8"x10" store day book. Inside the front cover is pasted a billhead from a company that reads Jelliffe Wright & Co., Produce Commission Merchants, 284 Washington Street in the Manhattan section of New York City.
Only 11 out of the 100 or so pages are handwritten by someone and the rest are blank. This was probably kept by maybe a storekeeper or business owner? Dates range from 1904-1911 that I can see.
