Outstanding Native American turquoise Sterling silver waterbug design leather bowguard or ketoh bracelet. This old beauty showcases a waterbug type design crafted in repousse and stamp work, and adorned by three turquoise stones set in serrated bezels. The center stone is blue, and the outer stones a pale aqua tone and green. The silver panel sits on a thick leather cuff that measures approximately 7 1/2", measured from the center of the cuff, and attaches with a thick leather tie. Thi...s unique piece is just over 3 3/4" wide, and weighs approximately 111.5 grams!! The stones are roughly 1/2" tall by 3/8" wide, from bezel to bezel. Dark patina, but looks to have been partially cleaned.. We do not clean or polish our pieces. Superb craftsmanship and stones.
