Offered here is a beautifully prepared, ventral Glyptambon verrucosus trilobite cephalon from the Waldron Shale Formation from Blue Springs Quarry (filled with water) in Waldron, Indiana, Silurian in age. The trilobite cephalon measures 1 1/4” wide and is stunning. Too bad one genal spine is missing or this gem would be in my collection. As you can see from the pictures, the trilobite head (cephalon) is nicely articulated and shows what the inside of a head looks like. This beautifu...l piece was found about 20 years ago during the time we had a lease on part of the old Blue Springs Quarry outside Waldron, Indiana. The quarry is full of water and is in a legal battle. No collecting allowed. If you have purchased multiple items, please do not send payment until I send an invoice.
