From Saxony Germany, Uwe Jopp is one of Germany's finest carvers in my opinion and produces exceptional pipes with stunning grain, amazing shapes, and perfect engineering. This one is mint and is a beautiful sleek Egg shape. The bowl feel incredibly comfortable in hand and has a razor thin rim edge leading to a deep chamber. The shank has just a touch of bend to it and meets the hand-cut ebonite stem with fishtail bit and Turkish Boxwood accent. Finish is an orange contrast and highlig...hts the spectacular flame grain which earned it a high Four Diamond grade with starburst to the rear that is quite spectacular! Absolutely mint this pipe comes with original suede sock and simply will not disappoint!
