Here we have a wonderful Art Deco bronze model of a boy which has been created in the manner of Dimitri Chiparus who was a Romanian sculptor working in the Art Deco style. He was one of the most important sculptors of the Art Deco era. His distinctive sculptures, frequently used a technique known as chryselephantine. This bronze is designed as a boy wearing a hat grasping a shoe in one hand whilst his other h...and is in his pocket. The detailing on the bronze is superb as can be seen in the close up photographs, raised on a black marble base which has some lovely graining.DIMENSIONS: The approximate MAXIMUM dimensions are: 4 cm wide x 4 cm deep x 16 cm high.
