Here we have for auction a Hardy Perfect 3 7/8" Fishing Reel...
Ebonite handle which turns freely set on nickel cup to faceplate.Blue steel callipers & pawls.Alloy un-filed smooth foot - 2 x riveted set.Smoked agate set in nickel case, free from fractures or chips etc.Turns freely with the constant check & sounds a delightful click on the turn - good check!Correct nickel rim tension screw applying as it should - good tension!Free from line grooves, corrosion or wobble......Stamped to the faceplate with the Hardy details & patents.Retaining very well...a good example!Cleaned, lubricated & oiled...ready for the rod!Lovely piece of angling history!All as per pictures!
