THE MOUNTS ARE OF BRASS, NICE POMMEL AS KNIGHT'S HELMET. THE GRIP IS OF ONE PIECE CATTLE BONE. BLADE IS DOUBLE EDGED AND HAS STAMPED MAKER'S MARK ON RICASSO. SCABBARD IS STEEL OR IRON. CONDITION IS FARE WITH AGE WEAR AND PATINA, HILT SLIGHTLY LOOSE. LIKELY AROUND MID 1800s.
