PRESENTATION GRADE MILITIA OFFICER'S SWORD
THE MOUNTS ARE OG BRASS WITH GOLD FINISH, THE GRIP IS SILVER PLATED BRASS. BLADE IS STURDY DOUBLE EDGED WITH RIDGE IN THE MIDDLE. SCABBARD IS STEEL WITH ORNATE GILT BRASS MOUNTS. CONDITION IS FARE WITH AGE WEAR AND PATINA, BLADE AND HILT ARE TIGHT. LIKELY 1850s - 1860s.
