Original Description:
6" Lunkenheimier 3 chime steam whistle with 1 1/2" valve (valve seats tight).  Here is a video of the whistle blowing on 150# of steam.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EnVL35ien5Q   The whistle is from an abandoned sawmill and I am guessing it was struck by lightning causing the damage to the middle of the whistle.  The bell was brazed to the bowl and the steam slot and bell are in great alignment.  I had steel blanking plates made which fit over the hole...s and the whistle blows just fine with the plates (plates are removable).  The valve conveys with the whistle, but the nipples do not nor does the flange or base.  Since the whistle is brazed together, it does not come apart.
