Antique C 1870-1880 Black Forest Picture Frame "Jockele" Clock. Hand painted.. Condition is "Used". Case is 8.5cmx 7cmx 5 cm. Black enameled wooden picture frame rectangular surround, enclosing a floral and foliate reverse painted glass. A gold circle surrounds the white dial with black enameled Roman hours, and minute track to the outside... There are steel antique Breguet style hands. Dial is unsigned. A small cameo under the V1 is a portrait of a young man in a fine hat ...and German garments.Movement is enclosed in a wooden box with simple hinge on side doors. The weights and pendulum and brass and are considered to be original. The clock is not functioning, but has worked in previous years. Just needs someone who is prepared to give it some TLC.
