Such things as insects, arachnids, and botanicals can be found.This is a fully polished, gem quality amber fossil from the mines in the Dominican Republic that contains a beautifully preserved moth (Lepidopteran) that is displaying its proboscis (tube-like mo...uth part). The piece itself weighs 1.2 grams and has approximate dimensions of 2.1 cm length, 1.4 cm width, and 0.5 cm height. NOTE: 2.54 cm is approximately 1 inch.
