Here is a beautiful example of a very early Folmer & Schwing Graphic R.B. 5x7 folding camera. You can tell its a very early example of the camera and before they merged with Kodak by the early labels and construction of the front standard. The outer leather covering is in great shape showing some wear. The inside is a high end mahogany. It has its original red bellows. The lens is a really nice Zeiss Anastigmat Series II A 6 1/2 x 8 1/2 in a Bausch & Lomb brass shutter. The lens is an ...early Protar lens before Zeiss started using the Protar name. The shutter tries to fire but needs some help to get it to fire. The glass is clean and clear. There is a little amount of balsam seperation around the edges of the front element. The bellows look very nice but do have some light leaks when I shine a light through them. The back door opens fine and the ground glass is intact. The strap is in excellent shape. The camera has triple extension and extends fine. An amazing early American camera for anyones collection. Please look at the many pictures above.
