Original Description:
This early, Circa 1850, PA  Stoneware  jar/churn is decorated with 3 very vivid cobalt florals which wrap completely around the piece. It stands only 10 inches to the rim and another 6 1/2 inches to the tip of the dasher's handle.The small size makes it especially appealing to any collector of early PA  pottery .  I have looked it over very carefully and there are no chips , cracks or repairs to this uniquely small table ...top churn .   The original dasher is missing one of the wooden cross pieces at the bottom . It is my strong belief that it has always been used as a churn. A fine addition to any country home or stoneware collection.
