Original Description:
Offered here is an, original, vintage Tiffany Studios New York gilt bronze box in Louis XVI style. The heavy cast bronze box has a hinged, slightly domed lid, with raised designs on top and sides.  It is clearly marked on the underside: Tiffany Studios / New York / 1831.   The box measures 4 3/16" x  2 1/2" x   1 1/2" tall.  The box closes properly, is undamaged and shows only typical minor wear to the gold finish on the high spots of the lid and fron...t edge of the box.
