Royal "Faux Boi" Model P Typewriter serial numbered P219077 which dates it to 1930. This was also the 1st year of production of the Model P with the "Gull Wing" ribbon covers.
The example listed here is in excellent cosmetic condition. The faux wood finish shows beautifully with only the most minimal signs of wear. The decals are excellent. Most of the nickel plating is well preserved, too.&nb...sp;
Mechanically the typewriter types well, the carriage advances and returns as it should and paper feeds well. More than anything this typewriter just needs to be cleaned a bit and a new ribbon would be necessary.
Please note that the top section of the back plate is gone, but it's at the rear where it is barely noticeable and, honestly, doesn't it look interesting exposed?
An original case is included.
