This is an absolute beast of a tape deck. It's small, but weighs about 39lbs on it's own… built like a tank. It came from an older German couple who are clearing out some of their excess "stuff". It's in very good cosmetic condition. We've powered it up and the forward/reverse controls work, but since we don't have any tape to test it with, we cannot test any further. It may or may not need work.
This is a vintage piece of equipment that's been sitting in storage for many year...s, possibly decades. When electronics sit for this long without being used, components go bad. Electrical components will certainly need to be replaced, and we simply don't have the time to do this work. Please, don't buy this piece unless you are qualified to do a complete electronic restoration, or are prepared to pay someone to do it for you. Needless to say, it's being sold 100% as-is.
