Vintage 1965 Ludwig Pioneer 14 x 5.5 snare drum with Ludwig heavy duty hard clam shell case. This is a restoration project. The original P83 strainer has been replaced with one that does not fit. The original baseball bat muffler is intact as well as the lugs and hoops. Some loss of paint on the finish but no cracks or damage to the shell. The hinge on the case is separating on one side. I repaired one just like this using a strip of black duct tape. Worked like a charm! All of the chr...ome needs cleaning. I use fine steel wool on drum hardware and they turn out great.
