Estate found late 19th Century Cast Iron Christmas Tree Stand or Flag pole holder. mfg by North Brothers Phila ( Pat Appl'd for ), Measures 11 1/2" x 11 1/2" x 10" ht total weight just under 5 lbs. unique threaded sleeve tightens with three locking hooks clamping firmly into the wood. ( mouth dia 2 7/8" ). Still in excellent condition, with original gold paint markings still intact running down each leg and the North Bros co embossed logo highlighted
