Australia Made 1953 Coleman 249 Scout Lantern
This is a September of 1953 Coleman 249 Scout lantern made in Australia. Coleman of Canada entered an agreement to have products made in Australia starting in the 1930s. The lantern has only been wiped off to remove dust from being on my shelves for more than 15 years. I have not performed any restoration on it; however, I do not see any issues with the lantern. The valve, tip cleaner and pump stem turn fine and the globe i...s not one that I have seen.
