Original Description:
This is a nice Canadian made Coleman 249 kerosene lantern, nickel over brass body and fittings, with a sea foam green hood which does have some rust and chips, mainly on top. The tank has dulled, there is one tiny dent to the left of the pump, and the decal has faded. Bottom is clean, collar is clean with some light nickel loss, frame also clean with light nickel loss. I have replaced the generator and cleaned the brass, original old globe marked 'Coleman - Pyrex brand glass', has no c...hips or cracks. It is a nice old lantern left pretty much original, could do with a polish, but not by me.
