US Army WW2 M1936 Combat Suspenders Provisional Pattern O. D.
Item History & Price
Reference Number: Avaluer:50009414 | Country/Region of Manufacture: United States |
The rarest of all US ww2 suspender types, the provisional pattern was produced in limited quantities as there were temporary shortages of riveted metal d-ring fixtures.
This all-sewn pattern was approved in late 1942. Production ceased as the newer M36/43 appeared. No later dated than 1943 has been found.
Painted OD in WW2, a common practice for webbing in the Northern European theater-see picture of us soldiers in... Germany 1945.
