Original Description:
1944 WW2 Original US Army Military trenching Tool Shovel Carrier Cover Used. This item was part of a collection from a basement cleanout, so I know very little about the item. There appears to be a small amount of oxidation from being in the basement and that vintage basement smell. The clasp doesn't really want to close, but looks like it could with some slight maneuvering of the inside of the clasp. The stitching on the leather on one side has also given up, but otherwise the item is... in good condition. The item is marked KENWOOD MFG CO 1944 as shown in the pictures.
