Vintage Apple Macintosh Color Classic M1600 Computer 10MB/250MB+Keyboard+Mouse. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail or FedEx or UPS.**Includes original box with matching serial number!**Up for sale is my last boxed Color Classic. These are such cool computers! The logic board has had its battery replaced and it has been ultrasonically cleaned and fully recapped which is a requirement for boards of this era. Most Color Classics have failing and/or leaking capacitors. Even logic boards... with original capacitors that “look good” probably aren’t good!This system has the standard 16MHz 68030 CPU, upgraded 10MB installed RAM, and a 250MB Quantum hard drive. The screen seems crisp and clear and the sound seems ok. The case seems to be in VERY GOOD overall shape with some very light yellowing mostly on one side (see photos). The floppy drive worked last time I used it but I haven't tested it recently. The Quantum hard drive appears original and seems to work but you should assume that it will fail soon (as all Quantums do!). Also included is a used Apple keyboard and mouse that both seem to work. The computer is running System 7.5.3 and is full of the original owners' files from the mid-90s. Enjoy digital archaeology and explore old tax returns, sports schedules, and resumes! The box has writing on the outside and has some styrofoam.You are getting exactly the items pictured. Although this computer and all accessories seem to work, the testing I performed wasn't exhaustive and I cannot offer guarantees on nearly 30-year old computers. It could work great for years to come or stop booting after you take it out of the box. Everything is being sold AS-IS and as NON-WORKING due to its age and my inability to offer a warranty.
