This listing features a two (2) slab lot of very rare top quality petrified, agatized wood slabs originating from the Blue Forest / Eden Valley deposit in Western Wyoming and an unusual specimen from Arizona! The Blue Forest specimen slab is thick cut and under close examination, one can see that it is a very rare preserved Palmoxylon wood from the deposit! The specimen from Arizona displays brilliant, chatoyant calcite replacement in veins within the voids of the wood as shown in the ...third to the last photograph which was taken while dry. The slab also shows unusual coloration of pink and gray-green! Together, both fossil wood slabs weigh 11.3 ounces. The rare Palm slab measures 116mm by 81mm by 8mm and weighs 4.1 ounces. The Arizona specimen weighs 7.2 ounces and measures 188mm by 121mm by 5mm. Both specimens were photographed while wet excluding the final three photographs which display both sides of both the slabs while dry. I will combine shipping for multiple purchases as long as the specimens can be packaged in a manner that will minimize the potential for damage.
