Vintage Hays Superior Bluebill Drake Decoy circa 1925. This decoy was completely overpainted when I received it and I have removed 95+% of that paint to reveal a pretty good example of a Hays Bluebill with some good swirls in the breast. This decoy has its original weight, and double line tie. I believe the eyes are original but the left side does not have as much color as the right side. There is a crack along the bottom from the breast to the start of the tail, alth...ough it is not visible when displayed. This company very closely copied the Mason Company with their product. This is a good example of a Missouri decoy that is nearly 100 years old. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
