My Father's gas mask carry bag. He was a pilot in the US Air Force from 1944 to 1968. He used this bag in France during WW2.
This an empty "Army Light Weight Service Mask" carry bag. It does not contain the mask. The canvas is Army green. On the front is printed "U S" and the Army logo. There are three metal snaps that hold it closed. There is 36 inch ...( adjustable ) neck strap, with metal clasp. There is a 24 inch ( adjustable ) waist strap with metal clasp. Inside the bag are two 10 inch cloth straps to hold the gas mask in place. The bag 13 inches wide, 10 inches tall, and 5 inches wide. It weights 17.2 ounces. This canvas bag is in gently used condition. There are no holes, no tears, and no rips. There are four small brownish stains on the front along the bottom. There is a very slight smell of mothballs. All three metal snaps work perfectly. Both straps are adjustable and there is no rust on any of the buckles or clasps.
The winner has to pay for the postage. They will be sent by Priority Mail to a US winner. They will be sent by First Class International to an overseas winner. They will be packaged in bubble wrap and a strong outer box. I will send them as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2PM, Monday through Saturday). There are no handling costs. These are from a no smoking and no pets home.
