Original Description:
This was an Army issue wool blanket made in March 1941 - just prior to WW II.  The picture of the tag describes it.  The blanket is approximately 62 inches by 76 inches and is very densely woven. It has not been used for over 50 years but was moved from house to house "living" in mountain house closets and remarkably has only one moth hole (see pictures).  There are also a couple of stain spots (see picture of one).
