Tonight I'm happy to offer, from a recently purchased estate, Sherman, Vintage, Late 1950's - Grey Art Glass - Grey and Gold Flecked Cabochon Art Glass Three Piece Necklace, Bracelet and Earring Set. EXTREMELY RARE DESIGN! - EXCELLENT CONDITION! - NO RESERVE! This impressive and very unusual set dates from the late 1950's, made by the well known Canadian firm of "Sherman", fashioned as a three piece set consisting of a necklace, bracelet and earrings featuring oval shaped cabochon art ...glass gems set in openwork pierced border gold mounts. The set is done with a dazzling and intense opaque grey and gold flecked art glass gems claw set in plated gold mounts.
The necklace measures 13.5" with a 3.5" extension chain for a a total length of 17", the bracelet measures 1.25" with a length of 7" and the earrings measure 1" by 1".
The set is in excellent condition showing only normal use all the original glass stones, none missing or replaced. There is a small loss to the finish or plating on the back of the borders of the set, this is minor, does not detract and quite common with Sherman's gold plated items.
The necklace and bracelet are marked on the back, Sherman on a small gold oval and the earrings, Sherman on the back of the ear clips.

Colorful or clear prong-set rhinestones or cut crystal beads (sometimes with an aurora borealis finish) adorn most Sherman pieces; the metal is rhodium-plated or gold-plated.
