*** ************************** ****Up for sale here is a very rare hutchinson soda bottle, from the Allegheny County city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Bottle should date into the 1890's era. This hutch is in excellent near mint condition, and the icy greenish aqua colored glass is sparkling clean. The clarity of the glass is amazing. Zero case wear, and bottle was never tumbled... or in the ground. There are no chips, checks, pings or dings. Please see all the pictures. *It is boldly embossed within a round slug plate, as it reads ~ "P. TOOHILL. / 19 EUREKA ST. / PITTSBURG." The embossing is very thick. The original hutchinson stopper is intact. The base is plain. On the lower reverse heel it reads with the Pittsburgh glass house initials ~ "D.O.C." This super clean example measures 7 inches tall, and 2 3/8 inches in diameter. You will be well pleased with this vintage piece of soda pop bottling history, from southwestern Pennsylvania.
