Up for auction is a tin friction open wheel racer made by Nomura (T.N.) of Japan. It measures 5 1/2 inches or 14 centimeters long and it is in excellent, complete condition. This racer is a little unusual in that it is wildly colorful in an almost psychedelic way but it still has the older style driver's head and windshield. The colors are beautifully vivid and the surface of the tin has a terrific gloss. There are two small spots where the paint has been touched up, both on the very b...ack of the racer in the yellow sections near the edge. Probably the best photo to see the area is in photo #4; photos #8 and #9 also show the area., which is an excellent match. The windshield and hubcaps are bright and shiny and the tires are in great condition. One of the back tires is a little warped but it doesn't affect the racer's motion. The friction motor works very well with a great siren sound. This is a beautiful, brightly colored tin friction racer in excellent condition. Thanks for looking!!!!
