Tama Vintage Superstar Cherry Wine Drum Kit Peart. Condition is Used. I bought this kit brand new in 1985. It was played a lot through the early 90’s and has spent the last 20 years in storage. It features the Tama Power Toms and the beautiful Cherry Wine lacquer finish. The sizes are 24 inch bass 22 inch bass 18, 15, 14, 12 toms, 10, 8, 6 concert toms. This kit is very versatile, can be set up as 4 or five pieces like Bonham or Buddy Rich or put it all up and play any prog rock or f...usion song. The bad news is there are scratches on all the drums as I played out a lot with this kit , it did get a few bumps nothing to effect sound and cannot be seen under lights or on stage. Some pitting and rust on metal pieces.The concert toms clear coat has turned a bit milky. The 10 inch concert Tom has some delamination as seen in pix, but this happened in the late 80’s and has not gotten worse. Also it has some missing and broken Tom mounts, but these can be gotten at a music store or on EBay. Please look over pictures I have tried to represent this kit honestly, it’s a great outfit and has many more years of service just needs a little TLC.
