Pictured below is an excellent vintage modernist bracelet in sterling silver and enamel designed by Anton Michelsen, Copenhagen, Denmark, circa ‘40s. The popular design is called ‘Marguerite, ’ and this example features daisies in gold-washed sterling and bright white enamel. Later produced by Georg Jensen in various colors, this is an early example, with larger, double-linked daisies, a push clasp and a safety closure. It is a substantial piece, exceptionally well-crafted, with ...clean, modern lines and big presence on the wrist.Measurements: The daisy links each measure about 5/8” in diameter; the wearable length of the bracelet is about 7 1/8”.Condition: The bracelet is in excellent used vintage condition, with just light surface signs of age and wear, some darkened patina, but no damage or detractors. The enamel surfaces have a few stray, small scratches, but no chips or missing enamel.Marks: It is signed on the back of the closure link with impressed marks, ‘AM [triangular crown logo], DENMARK, STERLING.’ Please see my other auctions for more mid-Century modern design, vintage decorative pieces and jewelry.
