Huge 5 X 6 Foot Linen Backed Plot Level " Flamm ' S Map Of Baltimore " 1906. RARE

Up for sale is a phenomenal Flamm's Map of Baltimore published in 1906. It measures approximately 5 x 6 feet (72 x 62 inches). It is linen back and detailed to the plot level. One inch = 500 feet. There is great color on the map. A spectacular, rare piece of Baltimore history.
The map itself folds down into a folio like book and then unfolds. Overall the condition of the individual sections is very nice. Condition issues are at the folds. The ma...p is split into a top and bottom half. I do not know if the whole thing was originally like this or if it was connected but the spine was almost certainly connected at one point. There are splits at the fold from some of the sections. This piece ideally would be framed and displayed somewhere and this issue can be fixed at framing. Other than that there is some light browning and a few dings here and there. The actual leather boards have scuffing and are split in two. The color is great as s the detail on this map.
A fantastic piece that is very rare. Copies almost always found only in libraries or museums. There are no ex library marks of any kind on this map.
