Welcome to my listing, please allow me to introduce myself. My name is James. I am a horologist and have been working with clocks and watches for over 30 years. The mahogany case has a beautiful deep colouring to it which displays wonderfully, the case has a hinged glazed door to gain access to the dial, the trunk has a fully glazed door which gains you access to the weights and pendulum, both doors have ball cathes to hold them shut. On both sides there is a removable panel which can help when hanging the pendulum and setting up and clockThe Clock Measures - 83.5 inches high x 18.75 inches wide x 11 inches deepDialThe clock has a brass dial with a cartouche style design and pierced brass spandrels, the dial has roman numerals. The dial is in excellent conditionMovementThe clock has a 8 day triple weight driven 1/4 striking musical movement which plays the westminster chime every 1/4 hour and on the hour after the musical chime has finished it will strike the amount of hours on 4 seperate gong rods. The weights are wound by pulling the chain down for each weight to lift up.
