A stunning book. Professionally and painstakingly restored. Rebound in full black morocco, saving the original papier mache boards. Odd split still visible amongst the intricacy of the papier mache decoration, though this in no way ...deters from the stunning overall impression. Plain morocco spine, with intricate blind-stamped decoration around the board edges. Gilt finish to the page-edges. New end-papers. Moderate foxing throughout much of the contents, occasionally heavy, as is usual for this book. One or two discreet page repairs, using acid-free clear archival tape. One full-page illumination, with smaller illuminations and gold decoration throughout. 100 pages. Please refer to the 12 uploaded images for a clear indication of both condition and content.
