1599 GENEVA BIBLE, quarto, 8 1/2 x 6 1/2 x 2 1/2, features several engravings and maps, soiled title page dated 1599, lacks all prelims, O.T. without the Apocrypha, second half of the OT title page before the psalms, N.T. title page dated 1599 torn with loss to the lower corner, Revelation by Francis Junius, ends with the letter "T" of the second table of the concordance so lacks the final leaf or two. The binding appears contemporary and is sturdy with newer labels, unbroken hinges, s...pine is slightly concave and the text block is slightly misshapen. Unrestored and not collated so expect the usual tears, soiling, staining, dog ears, etc. and the possibility of additional missing pages not mentioned here. Sold W.A.F. not subject to return.
