This is an exceptional antique folding tripod that dates from the turn of the last century.I have been unable to find any makers marks which is surprising because the quality of this brass & maple tripod is excellent. It measures aprox 2 7/8” wide by 17 ¼” long when folded. Each leg has four sections that slides out to 51”, fully extended. All the wood and the brass slides are perfect, but there is wear and tarnish to the original surface of the brass. For use with... a camera, telescope or convert into an industrial style lamp.
