Original Description:
Nice condition.  I believe this is a WW2 era theatre made holster fashioned after the Colt 45 Auto US shoulder holsters.  A Colt 45 Auto fits nicely.  I did a Google search for TOURNIQUET BOUTON BTE S.G.D.G. which is written on the button retainers.  I discovered an internet sight which has to do with French WW2 military items.  Please study the photos as to condition, etc.  Where the leather overlaps in the last photo it looks to ...me like another piece of leather was sewn there.
