Dennis Wheatley - The Scarlet Impostor - Hutchinson 1940
Hardback first edition, inscribed to Mr A. Hawthorne X-mas 1939 - just before it came out. Mr Hawthorne had some sort of professional association with Dennis Wheatley, I have another title inscribed to him thanking him for his work.
The book is Good overall with some light mottling marks to front board and tanning to page block. The jacket has a little loss at spine ends, Good+ overall. There is a 4/- sticker over the 10/6 ...flap .
