Ten 8vo volumes uniformly bound in 3/4 leather over marbled boards with top page ends gilt. Nice turn of century edition of the works of Hugo, which includes his major novels (Les Miserables, Toilers of the Sea, '93, The Man Who Laughs, etc.) and illustrated throughout with numerous B&W steel engravings. Some heavy chafing to leather in places, ru...bbing to spine joints, else a nice clean set free of stamps, inscriptions, book plates, etc. This is a very scarce edition with no sets available online with this publisher's imprint.
