Up for sale here is a vintage, mid century modern era one of a kind , unframed oil painting on canvas by listed California painter and woodblock artist George Ormond Fitzhenry (1887-1970 American Artist). The subject matter of this oil painting is a Still Life with Bottles and Objects in An Interior. The painting measures 24 inches high by 20 inches across. The painting is signed by the artist and dated 1956 in the lower left corner. The artist has also signed the painting on the... back of the canvas and has his California address on it. As for condition there are some areas of faint paint cracking but no holes, tears or restorations.Georg Ormond Fitzhenry is listed in the published books Moure's book on Southern California Art, Mr. Edan Hughes Book on California Artist, and is Who Was Who in American Art. He exhibited his art publicly at the California Painter's and Sculptors Club and the Los Angeles County Fair plus other venues.
