A very fine French antique diamond set fob watch in 18ct gold and enamel.
...phik Webfont", -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, Roboto, "Droid Sans", "Segoe UI", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">French Art Nouveau styling the gold is a rich yellow gold, the back made up with a fine cobalt blue guilloche enamel contrasts against the rich gold beautifully, it has a delicate white enamel border surrounding the blue.
The back is set with 13 diamonds set into an Art Nouveau silver floral design, the central diamond being the largest.
The dial is a white enamel, clear and clean with numbers in Arabic and gold hands, the front case also has a small blue enamel border, the glass is nice and clear.
It is a top wind, pin set fob watch, marked internally to the case with the French horses head mark for 18ct gold (used 1838 - 1919) makers mark SG, c1905 - 1910
This stunning little fob watch is in good working order checked over a 24 hour period and keeps time well.
Approx 1.25" width of the watch, 1.5" height with loop, weight 17.57 grams, diamond weight just <1 ct (estimated in setting)
Good condition overall, working, minor loss to the white enamel border, one diamond has been replaced at some point.
