He was an officer of the Delaware militia during the French and Indian War and the American Revolution, a Continental Congressman from Delaware, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, and President of Delaware during most of the American Revolution. ConditionCovers are slightly faded, and there appears to be some damp damage to back cover which extends slightly into the margins of a number of back pages (very light) but not affecting text. Front hinge weak. Embossed stamp on front free endpaper. Interior has light, even age-toning, and the binding is secure. Very Good condition.
