Description: Up for sale is this solid bronze metal plaque in low relief of the famous Shawnee war chief Tecumseh. Tecumseh (1768-1813) was from the Ohio valley area and was instrumental chief in the war of 1812. He was a strong leader that was able to unite many tribes unified in an attempt to protect their lands and way of life. He was respected by both his friends and enemies. This sculpture commemorates this great leader. You can go out on the net and learn more detail about Tecu...mseh.This plaque is a low relief and cast in solid bronze. It weighs 8 pounds. It is signed by the artist Howard. Probably an architectural piece. Artist has done an excellent job capturing the dignity and strenght of this man. Very nice aged patina.
