Rare Arri - S Body Cap 35mm 16mm Arriflex NEX Hawks Factory In Shape
Item History & Price
Originally used on Arri 16 and 35mm motion picture cameras
Intended to safeguard the mirror shutter and internal workings of professional cine cams possessing an Arri Standard mount, nowadays these beauties are growing increasingly scarce.
These particular caps were manufactured of semi-rigid plastic and date back to the 1960's/70's.
They can be used as they were intended, or on any modern di...gital camera outfitted with an Arri-S adapter to protect one's sensor while a lens is not in place.
I have several of these, if anyone needs multiples. The cap pictured here is the exact cap a buyer will receive.
Free shipping within the continental U.S. and I always ship out within 2 days, oftentimes sooner.________________________________________________________________________________________________

=================================================================================NOTE: All proceeds from auction sales are being devoted entirely to the creation of my first feature length film. Set in the 1960's, the flick is a sentimental ode to classic Japanese sci-fi cinema. Despite its minuscule budget, the project is jam-packed with giant mutated meanies, flying saucers, classic hot rods and daringly-dressed vixens. All realized with traditional 35mm cameras and practical, old school FX.
Absolutely NO CGI whatsoever!
Should any kind person purchase one of my items, they'll be directly funding my small-scale efforts to keep the fast-vanishing art of celluloid filmmaking alive.
