Please check out my feedback as well.This is for a rare 3-piece two tone (green/ivory) Gretsch round badge kit in very nice condition with all original calf skin heads. I believe this color combo was manufactured from 1955-1959. I was told that the set was purchased by its only owner in 1959, so I’m assuming they were manufactured in 1958.The following is included:- 12” x 8...” tom in very nice condition. Minor hardware pitting/rust and small nicks, but nothing of significance for the age. Top and bottom original calf skin heads with bottom head tacked on (has 1/2” slice on the side of bottom head...above the rim, so it affects nothing). Inside of drum is factory painted grey and is pristine with excellent bearing edges. Mounts to the bass drum with a bass hoop clamp mount. I’m finding it hard to tighten one of the wingnuts tight enough to position the rim off the bass so it doesn’t touch it. Probably would want to replace one of the washes to give it more bite.- 14” x 5” snare drum in nice condition. Has a few nicks in the paint and one area that appears to be scratched (see 2nd to last pic). Hardware has minimal pitting and rust. The snares were not sitting properly on the bottom head, so I replaced them. I will include the original snares that can with it as well. Top head original calf skin. Bottom head looks original...not sure if it’s calf skin. Bearing edges are nice and inside shell is factory painted grey.- 22” x 14” virgin bass drum in very nice condition that comes with the original clamp on spurs. There are no additional holes in this drum, as the tom clamps on the bass drum hoop (never seen this before) and the splash stand also clamps on the bass drum hoop. The bass has long single rods that tension both heads at the same time. The hoops have the original tacked on foil that does have some rust in areas. There is the expected minor pedal rash where it attaches to the hoop. As shown in the last pic, there is a fine paint crack line that runs around the mid section of the drum. Original calf skin heads on both sides. Inside shell is factory painted grey and pristine looking. Nice bearing edges.The 3 drums come with original Gretsch drum key, clamp on bass spurs, clamp on Tom mount, and clamp on splash stand.The snare stand shown in a few of the pictures is NOT included.
