Vintage Translucent Hard Arkansas Sharpening Stone

I think it's an Arkansas hard stone? It's smooth like glass. It looks like a butterscotch to a very like gray in color to me, with some mix? This stone is in a dovetailed box. It measures approximately 4 3/4" x 1 7/8" x 7/8'. There is one small chip I saw, more? I think it's an older stone? Also I think it was only finished where it shows in the box. It seems like there is some slurry dried on it and rough in some areas? Sold as is.
