Original Description:
Nice aged patina in greens, gold and bronze, shows specs of old paint, shabby chic. Minerals in iron Glitter in the sun, this is a heavy strong piece. It appears from research, this lion, gargoyle, dragon, dog, figural was once a Parlor stove foot, leg, victorian, I believe from France. Measures appx. 8" tall by 5" wide, weight appx 8 lbs, unmarked, 19th century. Stunning,  unique hand casted in sand piece with no repairs, cracks or breaks.  Perfect for a doors...top or mounted as a planter base, as top of head is flat.
